Last night, I watched the extras on the DVD and saw a few of those scenes that we've been hearing about. Balian with a smile on his face (I'm assuming looking at his wife in the garden), the dinner scene with Godfrey in the village, Balian followed by the dog. The one scene where he says, "are you with me?", there is more dialog about how many Saracens is worth one knight or something like that. Scenes that we NEVER saw in the movie. Tragic.

The dinner scene takes place inside the castle, and actually it was shot in the church of the castle, transformed into a dining-room. If you have watched the documentary in the extras DVD where they show the castle, they show a monastery inside the castle, that church is where the dinner was shot. The big chimney is false and the altar is covered.

Golfo, is not very big, normal size I would say. And yes is very saggy but is not black.
