Gosh, it borders a miracle he even got away with his car in the beginning... without smashing paparazzi that is. And you can shortly see the number-plate on his car a bit... Okay, you might need extra stuff on your compy... but it's readable...

To be honest I'm a bit confused. At the beginning he's driving away from the paps then he's at the gas station and then he's going into the restaurant. Did the paps cut it the wrong way or were they following him earlier that day????

I don't think they've cut that vid and mixed beginning with ending of what happened. Some site mentioned that after the Sushi restaurant the group went to a bar, another indicates they went to a hotel after the restaurant.
Either way - the paps might have followed them from leaving Katsuya on to the gas station and right to whatever etablissement they were entering to finish the night off.
Just my guess.
