July 6, 2009: Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr pick up his dog from the animal hospital in West Hollywood and take him to airline cargo drop-off before they both fly out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California.

Isn't she suppose to be doing a shoot in Australia soon?

Filming for The Cross is suppose to start in September I think, but Vincent is there right now. I guess we won't know for sure if he will be filming soon until it happens.

Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend, Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr, pick up his dog Sidi from the animal hospital in West Hollywood on Monday morning (July 6).

The 32-year-old British actor was later seen taking Sidi to an airline cargo drop-off before catching a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles.

Wishful thinking from my side: a movie set!!!

Wasn't there a report a while ago from some company who said they are scheduling Sidi's stay in Hongkong? So maybe TRC is finally ongoing.

I just hope he doesn't bring the poor lad to Oz, that would mean at least 30 days in quarantine.

Yes Michaela, there definitely was such a report. Last year, during the first schedule for TRC. Almost forgot about that, thanks for reminding!

I doubt very much he'd bring Sidi to OZ, that quarantine is just too long (and cruel) for a limited stay, even if it was for 2-3 months.

But Sidi has a pet passport. As long as he hasn't been to any country that they consider too high a risk, he wouldn't need to be quarantined at all. That's how Orlando is able to bring him back and forth to England so easily. The vet probably had to sign a few papers for his travel documents, to declare him fit and safe.

Oh, I certainly DO hope this signals a movie set soon. I also do hope this flight isn't too long for poor Sidi...I can barely stand a flight sitting down in cushy seats with food and drink for hours on end, let alone being in a cage.

As to where he'll be next?....Well, I guess the best we can do is close our eyes, spin a globe, and point our finger.... Always quite the surpriser when it comes to his locations. Though, I would wish very much that he's headed for my house....

England has my vote too! If Sidi has a pet passport, all he'd have to do is show his papers from the vet that his vaccinations are up to date and he wouldn't have to be quarantined. I don't know the laws of Australia, but I wouldn't want to see Sidi or any other dog in confinement for that long.

I can just see him lugging out boxes and things for his mum.

Well... I'd be there to help as well in no time. I think we would have "moved" his mommy in the speed of sound if we all gathered there... Just to prove what nice and helpful, supportive girls we are of course...

That pet passport is for European countries. It might be valid in the USA, but it certainly isn't in Australia. Quarantine durations for pets entering Oz are between 30 and 110 days.
So I'd definitely rule it out that Sidi is on his way to Australia.

That sighting of Orlando in England is from Twitter and has to be taken with a huge grain barrel of salt. Though I wouldn't rule it completely out - let's just wait and see.
About the reliability and the board policy concerning Twitter sightings see this thread in the magazines forum.

Wow, I had no idea. I always thought that the pet passport was honored all over the world. That's really strict. Poor lonesome doggies.
I guess the only way Sidi will go to Oz is if Orlando moves there.
